Neunaber Audio Immerse Reverberator Guitar Effects Pedal Review

 

Earlier this year, Neunaber Audio surprised many when they announced the release of the Immerse Reverberator effects pedal, a reverb stompbox based on their Expanse line of programmable effects. With the Expanse line, in particular, you get a pedal that is able to be reprogrammed to be anything from a reverb to a flanger, a phaser and more. But with the Immerse Reverberator, you essentially get Neunaber's collection of reverb effects (known as the WET suite in the Expanse line), without the ability to reprogram the pedal whatsoever. While that might seem like a step back to some, it actually makes a lot of sense once you spend some time with the pedal. I mean, why reprogram the Immerse into a different kind of effect when it's one of the best reverbs around?
